MISSION STATEMENT To empower Lions clubs, volunteers and partners to improve health
and wellbeing, strengthen communities, and support those in need through humanitarian
service and grants that impact lives globally, and encourage peace and international
understanding.
A high honor as a Lion is to receive the
Melvin Jones Fellowship award. We would

2026 Leo Club Scholarship Awarded
We are proud to congratulate Dax Spradlin, recipient of
the Saraland Lions Club Scholarship recognizing a
graduating senior from the Saraland High School Leo
Club who has demonstrated outstanding dedication to
service and leadership.
Dax, thank you for the impact you’ve made through your
willingness to serve others and your commitment to
your community. We are excited to see all that lies
ahead for you. Congratulations on this well-deserved
honor!
Backpack Packing at Stillwater Church
Saraland Lions helped by packing bags of food to be distributed to needy
school students. We also support this ministry with donations of food
and money.
Saraland Lions Club Adopt-A-Spot is Looking Good!
Sourdough Bread Class
The sourdough class was a success with 15 people attending that included 4 from Camp Seale Harris. Sourdough bread is a better bread for those with blood sugar problems.
The Saraland Lions teamed up with Keep Saraland Beautiful to plant 5 Red Maples in front of City Hall and 6 trees in the
rear parking area of the Saraland Civic Center. Pictured below are ENVISION Landscaping LLC employees hard at work.
The improvement the trees have made is striking!
